Unlisted Watermark Variety

Hot on the heels of other major watermark variety finds, we are proud to announce that we have discovered an inverted watermark on a Mauritius 1891 2c on 17c rose F.U. This is unlisted in the Gibbons catalogue. It was offered as lot 306 in our May 1st stamp auction and realised £115.

Local Roadshows

We are holding a series of local roadshows around the whole country, usually in well-known hotels, where a member of staff will discuss with you the selling potential of your collection and transport the collection to our Warwick office for precise valuation. These valuations are free of charge and without obligation.

In our last cigarette cards auction was on May 22nd this C.W.S. 1910 Parrots set realised £552.

In the postcard auction, held on May 22nd, two collections of world royalty vastly exceeded their pre-sale estimates. The next auction, which will be on July 17th, also includes valuable royalty.

In the May 22nd toys auction, this Sutcliffe tinplate clockwork Bluebird II realised £276.

The next sale is on July 17th.

This Hornby Dublo BR blue E3002 class AL1 (class 81) AC Electric Bo-Bo 2 rail locomotive, about excellent, in near excellent box, was estimated at £300 and realised £437. The next sale of model railways is on July 17th.

Both Dinky and Corgi were good sellers in the auction on May 22. This Corgi Rocket Age gift set no. 6, excellent, in good box with packing pieces and information leaflet was estimated at £350 and eventually realised £775. The next die-cast sale is on July 17th.
