Banknote auctions are held throughout the year here at Warwick & Warwick.

The dates of our upcoming banknote auctions are:

Our public banknote auctions start at 12 noon.

If you want to buy banknotes, the online catalogue will be available approximately 3 weeks before the sale.

Viewing times for our banknote auctions

There is no need to attend our banknote auctions in person if you want to buy banknotes because commission bids can be placed in advance of the sale.

You can place bids via our online facility, by telephone, post, fax or e-mail. For further details, please visit our Online Catalogue.

Members of the public and banknote dealers who like to make a first-hand inspection before they buy banknotes can view them at Chalon House in Warwick.

The viewing times are:

  • 9am – 4.30pm on the Friday, Monday and Tuesday prior to the sale.
  • 8.30am onwards on the day of the auction

Please note that there will be no viewing facility outside these periods and viewing is not available at the Court House Ballroom.

Where do our banknote auctions take place?

All Warwick & Warwick banknote auctions take place in the Ballroom of the Court House, Jury Street, Warwick, CV34 4EW.

The Court House is located on the south side of Jury Street, at the intersection of Castle Street. It is also the Tourist Information Centre and is located on most maps with an ‘I’.

Account settlement and lot allocation takes place progressively in our premises whilst the auction continues, so as soon as the section of the banknotes auction which interests you has been knocked down, you can pay and collect your lots without waiting for the end of the sale.
