11th January 2017 Stamp Sale

In our January stamp sale we again have strong British Commonwealth King George V ranges, including a fine and rare selection of varieties.

Lot 298 is the scarce Malta 1960 3d “blank corner” UM.

 

Lot 301, the Mauritius 1879-80 13c, with watermark inverted, was discovered by Warwick and Warwick valuer, Joseph Cottriall.

 

Lot 250, Gambia 1909 3/- “dented frame”.

 

The sale also contains a range of Great Britain QV-KGV stamps in FU condition.

Lot 592, GB 1867-83 wmk. Anchor, white paper, 10/- greenish grey (SG135).

 

Lot 609, GB 1913 Waterlow £1 green (SG403).
