The Warwick and Warwick postcard auction on November 19 includes a marvelous collection of Malaya and Singapore postcards, part of the fabulous Karl Jaeger collection. It includes 7 unused Singapore chromo vignettes and 6 b & w vignettes, many cards of natives including real photographic cards, working elephants RP, Raffles Hotel advert, pioneer aircraft by Penang photographer RP, 1953 coronation celebrations (2 with plain backs), traction engine close-up RP, 3 Penang vignettes unused, Penang rubber workers RP, RP cards of the Sultans of Johore, Perak and  Kedah, Penang beauties RP, street scene, machine workers RP, Indian fakirs in Penang RP, religious self harm RP (7), Pasir Panjang house RP, Perak rubber estate workers RP, Penang hill railway RP, Penang crocodile RP and much more. There are 123 cards in this fine collection and it also contains items of paper ephemera. The condition is fine throughout. This collection will be very popular with the large number of collectors of Malaysian cards. The estimate is £600 and the lot number is 102.
