Schuco “TEXI” remote controlled car in 21st January sale

In the 1950’s and 1960’s, German manufacturer Schuco made a series of very high quality remote controlled cars. This is a very well preserved example of one of their best creations.

This tin plate Alfa Romeo has a lady driver who, as the instruction leaflet included states, “The thinking girl driver steers, changes gear and looks where she’s going”

This example is lot 301 in our 21st January sale
