As the hot weather has came and went so has our latest auction, this time we had a huge collection of Star Wars memorabilia, ranging from action figures, statues, playsets and more. As always we also had a great range of postcards, cigarette cards, trains and die cast models. Lets dive into some of the highlights of the auction.

Our first lot comes from our Pokemon Trading Card section and is the Dark Charizard from the Team Rocket set, being a personal favourite of many collectors around the world, Charizard cards are always chase cards even in modern sets, so you can expect that the famous orange dragon will be even more sought after from its earliest prints. This card being excellent in quality highlights just what value your cards can have if you take care of them, reaching a hammer price of £370.

Our next lot comes from our postcard section, a lovely range featuring renowned postcard artist Louis Wain, a pioneer of anthropomorphic art which I imagine has in various ways inspired artists all the way up to the digital age of today, kept in a nicely well looked after album, any collector would be lucky to be able to add this collection to their own, and one lucky buyer has done that with Louis Wains art hitting a hammer price of £1500.

A long time ago, in a galaxy far away comes lot 219, featuring a model of ‘The Ghost’ flown by a fan favourite character from the recent Disney Plus original ‘Ahsoka’. Being an item with a famous limited release by Hasbro this item is certainly a rare fine, hitting a hammer price of £470
