Our 4th Toys, Postcards and Cigarette Cards auction has come to pass, and with that we would like to take the time to highlight some standout items.
Starting with our Cigarette and Trade card section, we had Lot 54 which contained Murrays 1912 Footballers, very rare cards like this pop up and it’s no surprise that they did well, eventually reaching a hammer price of £1200, putting them “top of the league” in the auction.

Now we move onto Postcards, and Lot 158 which contained an excellent range of social history cards including disasters and royal visits, but what wasn’t a disaster is the eventual hammer price which reached £875.

Get ready to hide behind the sofa as we move onto our Toys section, with Lot 172 being a life-size replica of a Dalek from the long running TV show Doctor Who, as a fan myself seeing that this fantastically crafted model finally has a home brings me nothing but joy, it would sell for £400.

Finally we move onto our Trains section, we had a great range of locomotives this sale but none proved more popular than Lot 343 featuring the L&SWR Class M7 Tank 0-4-4T 109 LSWR Bassett-Lowke with green and yellow livery, Ozzy may have retired but there was nothing crazy about this train with the eventual hammer price being £550.

Our next Toys, Postcards, and Cigarette Cards auction will be held on Wednesday 17th September 2025. The full catalogue for this sale will be on our website in the next few weeks but keep an eye on our Twitter, Facebook and Instagram pages which will include updates of our latest auction news.
