Jane Moubray RDP Hon FRPSL FRPSC
Jane Moubray has been a member of the Royal Philatelic Society, London, for over 40 years and a member of its Expert Committee since 1979. In 1996, she was elected its first (and to-date only) female President. In 1997, Moubray signed the Roll of Distinguished Philatelists. In addition to Canadian philately, she is also co-author of ‘British Letter Mail to Overseas Destinations 1840 to UPU’, for which she and Michael Moubray received the Crawford Medal in 1992.
This auction of Canada will feature an extensive, specialised range of stamps, proofs and postal history. Beginning with a selection of pre-stamp mail, the collection is strong in the early Colony of Canada issues, the Large and Small Queens, the Jubilee and Maple Leaf issues, the Admirals including postal rates, railway postal stationery, as well as revenues. The online catalogue will be released in due course.
