Warwick and Warwick 21st May 2025 Toys, Postcards and Cigarette Cards Auction.
The year is nearly halfway through and with that we have completed our third Toys, Postcards and Cigarette Cards auction of 2025, as usual we had a wide array of items fit for a whole range of collectors, here are some of the highlights from yesterday.
Firstly, in our cigarette card section we had a brilliant selection of Allen & Ginter complete and part sets, including the 1889 Fish in American Waters, this rare and early set went for a total hammer price of £380!

Our next highlight comes from our postcard section, Lot 67 which features a stunning range of topographical cards from around Leicestershire, Warwickshire and some aviation themed cards. This historic collection was the joint best-selling lot in the auction and sold for £1550!

We had a excellent range of vintage tin plate toys including the next lot, the best seller of our range of Lesney Moko Jumbo Elephants, with the item still in working condition and including a key for the wind-up mechanism it ended up fetching £220 at auction.
Lot 183
The next lot is from our Toy Soldiers section, including this excellent Elastolin range of WW1 figures, including sets of British, German soldiers and scenery, this lot sold for a grand total of £410.
Lot 235
Finally, our last lot includes rare Moko Lesney boxed coronation coaches, these incredible models were paired alongside a range of classic matchbox vehicles, reaching a joint top hammer price of £1550!
