Warwick and Warwick Die Cast, Model Soldiers and Toys Auction Report 15th September 2021

Our 15th September 2021 Die Cast and Toys auction had some great lots and some even greater bids with customers bidding live via Easy Live and also with commission and telephone bids.

All our auctions are now start at 10.00am and are held exclusively online via Easy Live with no room bidders allowed. Viewing of the lots is strictly by appointment only on the Friday, Monday and Tuesday before the auction. No viewing is allowed on the day of the auction itself. We began with our toys section and this unidentified Crane Truck which realised £85 and this Airfix Monte Carlo Rally Set No. 5004 which sold for £60.

          

In our models section this Britains RAF Pilots and WAAF Set No. 1894 achieved £160. This Hauser German tinplate clockwork 6 wheel truck realised £120 and this King and Country WWI Australian Light Horse set No. AL007B sold for £280.

     

Moving on to the die cast section, this Budgie Gift Set No. 4 achieved £110.

                      

There were some lovely examples of Corgi models offered in this auction. Highlights included this BMC Mini Cooper S Rallye Monte Carlo No. 321 which realised £330. This The Man from UNCLE Thrush-Buster No. 497 sold for £290, this Daktari Gift Set No. GS14 achieved for £410, this Agricultural Gift Set No. GS5 realised £675 and this Car Transporter Gift Set No. GS48 sold for £650.

     

In the Dinky section this Police Vehicles Gift Set No. 294 achieved £140 and this Transporter Gift Set No. 990 realised £300.
