20th May 2021

The current COVID-19 heath crisis has led many companies to change their practices to bring them into line with the current government safety guidelines. So, for the safety of our customers and our staff, our 19 May 2021 Model Railway sale was a closed-door auction, with no room bidders allowed. There was still plenty of interest in the auction however with a plethora of book bids and a great number of bidders on the telephone.

O gauge models proved popular as ever with this Gateneal kit-built locomotive selling for £204 and this unnamed kit-built ‘City of Exeter’ which sold for £252.

This Bachmann National Railway Museum Great Central 506 Butler-Henderson Class locomotive and tender achieved £114 and this Broadway Limited (USA) Union Pacific 7511 GE AC 6000 No. 2000 sold for £108.
